LightWave3D is a 3D animation, modeling and rendering package currently for
the Amiga but will soon be available for PCs running Windows or WindowsNT as
well as SGI systems. Just about everything you need to create 3D animations
is provided in this package. Prime examples of the use of LightWave3D is to
watch TV shows like Babylon5, seaQuest and Robocop and I'm sure there's
plenty more where that came from.

There is an old FAQ for the mailing list that hasn't been updated for quite
some time. If I ever get some spare time, I wouldn't mind updating it.
